This is the last lifejacket you will ever need to buy your dog! It is extremely well-made and from how my dog reacts to it I can tell it's comfortable. Whether my dog is undergoing a Hydro therapy session or hanging with me on a kayak or taking a swim in a lot of waves I can rely on this to keep her safe!

I love the new yellow color, its easy to put on and the quality promises longevity. I tried 2 other life jackets before that didn't fit right, this one does. My ONLY issue with it is that I wish it had straps like the webmaster, with the second strap holder to keep the straps from loosening. With this design you fold back the excess strap and velcro it in place, and it took a couple tries to get it to where it wouldn't loosen up in the water. Otherwise it was PERFECT and I loved being able to pick Taz when a big wave hit.

My dog wears this vest to work off a boat as a cadaver dog. He has to work in the hot sun and this jacket does not overheat him. It allows him freedom of motion and he can swim level in it. The ability to swim level is important because so many other vests out there will force the head down. The handle also works well for getting them back in the boat. Only advice based on getting dogs back in with a collar. It must be SNUG. The dog can help get himself in but not with a loose collar or jacket. About all I would ask for is more reflective trim! (and that blue trim can go)

Fits great, doesn't move around and not bulky. When I put the vest on her she does not mind at all. I have tried other vest that seem to move around. It was a constant battle with her scratching or biting at it. The handle and extra features like the light loop makes rafting in the Rockies enjoyable, and easy to haul the dog back in the boat after a swim.

Live in Hawaii, bought this a few months back because I take her to the beach often and the life-vest I had bought her from 25lbs back wasn't cutting it anymore. I really wish I had waited for the newer colors, mine is the yellow.. the new blue and red pastel colors would look good on my dog. Anyway, aside from being a bit loose on her (had to get this size for her weight), she loves the thing. She likes to fetch in the waves, but the big ones give her a scare. The vest gives her a great amount of confidence, and helps me feel a good deal more secure taking her into the water with me. It doesn't stop her from getting thrashed occasionally, but it at least guarantees I'm going to find her when the foam clears.

We bought a medium for our still growing golden and loved it, so when he out grew it we gave the small one to our new puppy and knew we would definitely be buying another! Stays in place, allows them to swim with ease, jump off docks, keeps them afloat (especially when my little one tries to piggy back on my big one when he gets the ball first) also excellent for lifting the small one out of the water and onto the docks, not to mention that they are stylish and the yellow is very visible in water! I love that the front stall is hidden and there is no large floppy panel like other brands - this one is sleek, efficient, stays in place and overall very well made! We've used it hundreds of times during the summer and is a must on any road trip where the dogs might be able to swim!
